Adrael Official Walkthrough

Chapter 5 - INSIDE THE SHIP BOW BUILDING

Entering a small room, you see two counterweights and a lever. A plaque on the wall suggests this all has to do with the solar panels outside. A door at the end of the hall is closed, and a green panel above it is dark.

Pull the lever, and one of the counterweights comes down with a loud gear noise, while the other counterweight is clearly out of order. Since these are connected to the two solar panels above, only one of them deploys. You can verify this by running outside and looking up, to see one panel open fully...while the other gets stuck.

Back inside, the green light above the closed door begins to blink, indicating the door is powered up and operational, allowing you to reach a second room. Here, you find a machine suspended from the ceiling and some coloured diagrams on the wall. There is also a stand in one corner with non-functional buttons.

This second puzzle is not presently solvable by any normal logic we know of. As you see it, this whole room is caught by age release while it was in the middle of a revision, and it has no sense in its current condition. The complete Adrael will have different diagram clues on the wall, and some additional clue outside. Anyway, the purpose of this puzzle is to start an elevator, using only the partial power produced by the single solar panel available.

- How do I operate the control panel to do this?

Again, you hear the noise of machinery starting and running. Outside, you find an elevator going up and down. Jump in and ride it.

Alighting from the elevator, you find a device identical to the one you saw earlier down on the ledge, the one that had been smashed by fallen rocks. This unit is intact, and it works similarly to Aegura’s Nexus machines, allowing you to bookmark this location as the new active link-in spot.

Use the station, and the bookmark will be registered in a page of the DRA Office’s linking book, the page with the tree symbol.
